Japan Measuring Instruments Federation Visits China Instrument and Control Society————Jointly Explore a New Chapter of Collaboration
On the afternoon of April 22, 2025, a delegation from the Japan Measuring Instruments Federation, including Executive Director Misawa Keiichiro and Director of the International Committee Yoshikawa Naoko, together with Chikara Kanda, the Director of China Business Department of Tokyo Keiso Co., Ltd, and Manager Zhenyu Zhen, visited China Instrument and Control Society. They had an in-depth exchange with the Honorary Vice President Youhua Wu , Vice President and Secretary-General Tong Zhang, and other staff of China Instrument and Control Society.
The meeting was presided over by Honorary Vice President Youhua Wu. He recalled that the cooperation between the China Instrument and Control Society and the Japanese instrument field was established in the 1980s. Over the years, the two sides have maintained friendly cooperation in related businesses. The visit of the Japanese delegation this time is not only a continuation of the traditional cooperation but also set to open a new chapter of collaborative innovation for both parties in the fields of measurement control and metrological technology.
Secretary-General Tong Zhang expressed a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the China Instrument and Control Society. He said that China and Japan have always had extensive and in-depth cooperation and exchanges in the field of instrumentation. Japan Measuring Instruments Federation, as a highly influential professional organization in Japan in this field, has achieved remarkable results and rich experience in technological innovation, industry standard setting, and talent training. We have been closely following the development of your organization and have drawn many valuable lessons from it. It is hoped that this exchange will serve as an opportunity to promote the establishment of a regular cooperation mechanism between the two sides in the fields of academic resource sharing, technology transfer, and talent exchange.
Director of International Communication Department, Huimin Shan, systematically introduced the development and achievements of the society's international exchanges to the guests. She focused on promoting the society's annual brand activities such as the "International Fair for Measurement, Instrumentation and Automation," the "Academic Conference of China Instrument and Control Society," and "the World Sensor Summit." She also sincerely invited the Japanese institutions to participate in these activities with their cutting-edge technologies and products. By leveraging the China Instrument and Control Society's rich academic and resource advantages, it is hoped to achieve deeper complementary strengths in international exhibition linkage and jointly meet the opportunities and challenges of the global manufacturing industry's transformation and upgrading.
Japanese representatives Misawa Keiichiro and Yoshikawa Naoko respectively introduced the Japan Measuring Instruments Federation key plans for 2026, including metrological technology seminars and corporate achievement exhibitions. They expressed high regard for the China Instrument and Control Society's rich experience in academic organization and industrial collaboration, hoping to promote two-way technological docking and market expansion. They also looked forward to the Chinese side leveraging its platform advantages to introduce more Chinese wisdom into the Japanese metrology industry.
