OVERVIEW
The IEEE WF-IoT 2025 is a premier event in the fast-growing world of research and practice of Internet of Things devices and systems. It will be held in Chengdu, China, in Oct. 2025. The conference will cover all topics in the areas of computing, networking and communication related to Internet of Things, and feature keynote talks, invited position talks, technical symposia, distinguished lectures, and workshops. The theme for WF-IoT 2025 will be “Smart and Sustainable IoT,” which highlights the application of Internet of Things in smart scenarios and its sustainability.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
The conference invites researchers, scientists, and industrial engineers involved with the Internet of Things (IoT) to organize Special Sessions during the week of October 27th – October 30th, 2025. These sessions should focus on emerging and important topics in IoT, be coherent, relevant, timely, and informative, without overlapping with the traditional technical paper program.
A proposal should include the following information:
· Title of the Special Session
· Key Words that are descriptive of the topic covered by the Special Session
· Short description and motivation and significance of the Special Session (one page)
· Planned format for the Special Session, timeline with expected paper submission volume
· A draft of Call for Papers
· Full contact, a short bio (up to 250 words) and a recent high resolution headshot photograph in JPEG formation of the Special Session organizers
PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
Please send special session proposals in PDF format via email to the Special Session Co-Chairs by March 1st, 2025.

Notification of approval 1 April 2025
Special Session Paper Submission 15 June 2025
Special Session Paper Acceptance 31 July 2025
Special Session Camera-Ready Paper 15 August, 2025
