The 6th International Conference on Structural Health Monitoring and Integrity Management was successfully held in Zhengzhou
Approved by the China Association for Science and Technology, the 6th International Conference on Structural Health Monitoring and Integrity Management was successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan on November 10, 2024. This conference is jointly sponsored by China Instrument and Control Society (CIS) and Henan University of Technology (HAUT), organized by the the professional branch for Equipment Structural Health Monitoring and Prognostics of CIS, the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Electromechanical Engineering of HAUT, and co-organized by the Technology Innovation Center of Structural Health Monitoring of State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Standardization Working Group for Equipment Structural Health Monitoring, Henan University of Engineering, and so forth.
The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Mr. Ding Keqin, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference, the Chairman of the Third Committee of the the professional branch for Equipment Structural Health Monitoring and Prognostics of CIS. Mr. Zhang Tong, Vice President and Secretary-General of the CIS; Professor Wu Zhishen, President of Henan University of Technology; Mr. Cao Keshun, a second level inspector of the Department of Education of Henan Province; Mr. Deng Hongjun, Vice Chairman of the Henan Association of Science and Technology; and Professor Li Hui, an academician of the CAS, and other guests attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks.
The theme of this conference is "Structural Health Monitoring + Artificial Intelligence", with 14 special forums on new sensing structural health monitoring, reliability, predictive maintenance and intelligent operation and maintenance, as well as special equipment, aerospace, infrastructure, etc. More than 180 academic reports were made. Among them, there were 13 keynote reports, including Professor Du Yanliang a CAE Member from Shenzhen University, Professor Ou Jinping a CAE Member from Harbin Institute of Technology, Professor Tu Shandong a CAE Member from East China University of Technology, Professor Xu Youlin an academician of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Professor Mohammed Elshafi of Cambridge University, UK and other well-known experts at home and abroad; More than 170 invited reports were presented, and the conference received unanimous praise from the attendees.
This conference showcased the latest research achievements in structural health monitoring at home and abroad, as well as innovative achievements in different application fields. It strengthened the exchange and cooperation among scholars, effectively enhanced the influence of China's structural health monitoring and integrity management technology, and further improved and promoted the development and application of structural health monitoring technology in China.
