Chu Junhao, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, dean of the Institute of Optoelectronics of Fudan University , made a report entitled "Infrared Sensors in the context of the Intelligent Era".

Academician Chu is an infrared physicist, semiconductor physics and device expert, and has been engaged in the research of infrared optoelectronic materials and devices for a long time. In this report, he elaborated from three aspects: intelligent era and sensors, several new developments in infrared sensor research, and intelligent infrared sensing technology. He pointed out that it is necessary to deeply study the new laws and new technologies of the interaction and transformation between multiple elements such as light, electricity, heat, magnetism and sound from the source, and really make powerful devices in the intelligent era.

Professor Kenneth T. V. Grattan, recipient of the national honour of Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Professor of City College, University of London, gave a report titled "Optical Fiber Sensors for Industrial Applications". As the President of the International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO) and the winner of the Chinese Government Friendship Award in 2019, Prof. Grattan said that he was very happy to return to China to give a speech. Through the analysis of experiments and examples, he hoped to let the audience feel the scope of the field of optical sensors and the huge potential of the market. He said the combination of technological advances and a wide range of applications is a multi-billion dollar market that continues to grow. Whether in the UK or in China, the professor stressed that the advantages of using optics will be the way forward for some future solutions.

Wang Chenglu, CEO of Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd., gave a report titled "Kaihong Security Digital Base, A Cornerstone of Security for IoT Sensor" As the founder of HarmonyOS, Dr. Wang is known as the "Father of HarmonyOS" in the industry, he said that sensors are becoming more and more important in the entire digitalization process, and in the process of industrial digitalization, the generation of various data under a unified standard is crucial to the entire digital development in the future. Dr. Wang shared that the HarmonyOS can run on a single machine, but also on large equipment, and interact and connect people and the entire system through the management platform of super equipment, so as to continuously empower the digitalization and intelligent transformation. He believes that the HarmonyOS will bring a subversive change to all the current hardware forms, and the hardware is no longer limited to the constraints of physical forms, but relies on the software assembly and definition of the scene. In addition, Dr. Wang said that Shenzhen Kaihong is determined to become a platform ecological company, inviting talents and deep cooperation, and he believes that under the strong demand of the entire scene, the future development of the sensor field will have a very large space.

Li Ke, vice president of CCID Consulting Co., Ltd. made the "2023 Global sensor industry trend Research Report". Mr. Li first overviewed the development status of the entire global sensor industry, analyzed the huge scale of the global sensor industry from both qualitative and quantitative levels, and analyzed China's huge development space in the future market from two aspects of product application structure and regional structure. He analyzed in detail the five major opportunities in the sensor industry and the future development trend of global sensor integration, flexibility, passivation, diversification, and cross-integration. Finally, he put forward four proposals to focus on new technologies, new materials, application scenarios, artificial intelligence, and promote international cooperation, and he believes that international cooperation, technological innovation and industrial achievements in the whole sensor area will be able to achieve updated and better development.
